Thought I'd take a break here in the middle of building to give some hopefully useful information.
There's a lot of Words, Anachronisms and Slang that is unique to this world you've entered. Here's what some of this stuff means, and in some instances a little bit of history. (Like most of this blog I'll be updating and adding information regularly, so check back!)
501st - The name of the international group. Wikipedia actually explains it and it's history pretty well. Click HERE.
Bucket - Helmet. Once you put your head inside one, you'll understand.
Greeblies - (Pronounced "gree - bleez")A term George Lucas coined during the filming of A New Hope (the first Star Wars movie) for the "extra detail parts" that get stuck on things to make them seem more real.
Trooping - An event where people participate in costume. (Great idea, I think to go check out a couple events before you apply to join the 501st Legion. Meet some folks, see what it's all about, get some helpful advice.)
Movie Abbreviations (in "chronological" order, not by release date)
TPM - The Phantom Menace. Episode I
ATOC - Attack of the Clones. Episode II

ROTS - Revenge of the Sith. Episode III
(Solo happens here.)
(Rogue One happens here.)
ANH - A New Hope. The first Star Wars Movie that came out in 1977. Episode IV
ESB - Empire Strikes Back. Episode V
RTJ - Return of the Jedi. Episode VI
TFA - The Force Awakens. Episode VII
TLJ - The Last Jedi. Episode VIII.
TROS - Rise of Skywalker. Episode IX

FISD - First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment
FO - First Order
